Venus Writes the Next Chapter
The Libra Ingress as a Pivotal Phase in the Venus/Mars Cycle
At last, Venus returns to Libra where desire finds its right proportions. As she dusts off her trusty Scales, she already knows the weighing is going to take more time than usual. Her prolonged adventure in Libra and Scorpio due to her upcoming retrograde journey will not only be a turning point in her synodic cycle with the Sun, but also in her passionate dance with Mars.
Yes, I can explain everything!

Framing the Libra ingress as a pivot in the Venus/Mars cycle rather than only the solar one reframed it for me, and the timing holds up. Venus and Mars last met on January 8 at 18 Capricorn and do not meet again until November 25 2027, a gap of 686 days. Those gaps are wildly uneven, 686 here and then 202 and 85 across 2028. So this Libra and Scorpio stretch, retrograde and all, runs with Venus and Mars never closer than about 55 degrees, at the wide end of a cycle that is anything but a metronome.
