Børsen in Copenhagen, a 17th-century stock exchange drawing tourists with its distinctive spire, depicts four dragons that have their tails intertwined. On April 16, tragedy struck as a fire ravaged the historic building, causing the iconic Dragon's spire to collapse.
The astrology is striking. Of course.
The emergency call to the fire department coincided precisely with Mercury hitting the mark of the recent solar eclipse at 19°24’ Aries, down to the very minute. What a synchronicity!
First, let’s take a look at the Solar Eclipse chart for Copenhagen.
Note Mercury’s position on the descendant, on the brink of disappearance - a potent symbol forewarning the loss of something inherently Mercurial. Money exchange and stock markets are traditionally associated with Mercury.
Examining the Børsen Fire event chart, we find the chart ruler Mercury located on the eclipse degree in the 11th house, which represents “the state’s financial resources”. Mercury's trajectory leads it toward Rahu, the dragon's head.
Simultaneously, the goddess of beauty and art, Venus, also draws nearer to Rahu. As the Arian flames engulfed the historic building, invaluable works of art and furniture were salvaged from certain destruction.
Five years ago - almost to the day - the Notre-Dame cathedral was destroyed by a fire. I always felt that this event had broader symbolic implications. The name Notre-Dame - “Our Lady” – directs attention to the quintessence of the feminine principle. “Mother Nature” is one expression of this principle. To me, this incident foreshadowed the Australian Black Summer, a megafire of unprecedented proportions that unfolded less than two months later.
Could this event in Denmark similarly serve as a harbinger of a large-scale event?
Amazing symbolism during this eclipse season, thanks for your post. The comet as well! - mother of dragons.
I just came across the news of a volcanic eruption in Indonesia on the same day as the fire! There’s concerns for a Tsunami! Yikes!
